Well, with the last events at The Star over the Bank Holiday weekend, it is now, but we hope to resurrect the idea bigger and better next year, with the help of some feedback from our town’s pub & social club staff. Our sincere thanks to everybody involved – we hope it brought some extra custom to the venues which joined in and some fun for the people who attended in the days leading up to Fakenham Fair.
Don’t forget to take your ticksheets into Sweets n Things so that we can sort out the Prize Draw. We’d like them in ASAP please – we’ll be drawing the winners from the hat at our next Kick Start Fakenham meeting (see our Facebook page for info on that).
To sum up… Plubfest was publicised in The EDP, Fakenham & Wells Times, The Fakenham Sun, The Fakenham Beacon, Radio Norfolk, North Norfolk Radio, on posters in pubs and across the town, via the town website (www.fakenham.info), on our Facebook page (as well as other FB pages such as Norwich CAMRA) and via a Facebook Ad Campaign which was seen by 3,300 local people. If you didn’t spot something about it, as Plubfest Mark said, “Should have gone to Specsavers!”.
Cheers!
